We are not really going to the Yukon, but this picture gives you some idea of where the Klondike gold fields were located.  We are going to Camp Marin Sierra and simulating the Yukon.

Dates:  Saturday March 6 --Sunday March 7, 2010.

Be Prepared: to have fun!

Meet:  (Saturday 6AM) at Piedmont Council Scout Office at Piedmont Community Church, at 10 Highland Way.

Food Shoppers:  (Troop will handle meals). 

Carpools: Carpool driver list (with cell phone numbers) and passenger list will be distributed by email.   Thanks to those of you who have volunteered to drive.

Bring: all cold weather gear.  See lists in documents at right (Manual and gear list) HAVING PROPER GEAR IS ESSENTIAL! 

Where: we are going to be snow camping in the Klondike at Camp Marin Sierra where we go for summer camp.  We will sleep overnight Saturday night in tents and snow shelters.  
Return: probably around 3pm on Sunday.  Carpool drivers will drop scouts off at their homes, please be home or make arrangements with the drivers.
